18 June – DONE!

Andrew Barnett is best known as Barney to the audiences of Fox Sports where is a resident funny man on Sunday Night with Matty Johns and The Back Page. Along with James “The Professor Rochford” he cohosted of The Night Watchmen, The Professor’s Late Hit and Narrow World of Sports. He wrote and performed on The Professor’s Farewell Tour and The Professor’s Second Year Syndrome.

Andrew has been performing as a stand up since 2010 when he was a NSW Finalist in Raw Comedy. Since then he has performed sold out shows at Comedy Clubs and Festivals across Australia and New Zealand. Andrew is a crowd favourite, whose relaxed style belies a razor sharp wit.

Sydney-based comedian, writer, performer and Triple J’s voice on the street, Lauren Bonner is emerging as one of the most exciting new artists on the Australian comedy scene.

You may have caught Lauren on ABC’s Tonightly with Tom Ballard, SBS’s The Feed, Comedy Central or live at The Sydney Comedy Store.

MC for the night, Bec Melrose is an award winning writer and comedian.

After winning RAW Comedy in 2018, Bec exploded onto the comedy scene, delighting audiences with her razor sharp wit, concealing a socially conscious edge.

Sarah Gaul is an award-winning musical comedienne, actor, writer and improvisor.

Sarah is a Sydney-based multi-hyphenate who loves nothing more than performing, eating assorted cheeses and sitting at the local dog park with bacon-lined pockets.

She’s so good that we’ve got her at The Bar Ha Ha every night of the Festival this year.

Who else?

Harry Jun is a Sydney based comedian, host and cartoonist from Wollongong. He is the host of ABC Gamer’s The Loot Drop and the school based comedy podcast, The Passed Notes.

Carolyn Swindell is not only Australia’s favourite wealthy white lady comedian, she’s a Hunters Hill local (Gladesville actually, but same same) and Founder of the Hunters Hill Comedy Festival.

Tom Witcombe is a stand up comedian with razor sharp writing and delivery to match. Tom’s heavily concentrated material doesn’t waste a second, with jokes at every turn to keep the audience guessing. A Raw Comedy National Finalist who recently sold out his debut run at the Sydney Comedy Festival, Tom’s comedy is a blend of intelligence, absurdity and audacity.

Andrew Hamilton is a relative newcomer to the Sydney Comedy scene but is such a natural talent that we at The Bar Ha Ha have overlooked our usual requirement for five years’ experience to bring him – and his great story – to you. Also, he might be tied up after 22 June so see him now!
